Jake lives in the intersection of design, technology, and education. As the Executive Director, Jake’s role is to help shape the vision of IDOT and support the directors with accomplishing their goals. He enjoys karaoke, baking, and making snarky comments at poorly designed logos on the freeway.

Director of Internal Relations || he/him/his
Josh is a human-centered designer interested in environmental psychology, tangible interaction, and human-environment studies. As the Director of Internal Relations, Josh acts as the liaison between all high school chapters and the board of directors; he manages any chapter-related tasks including overseeing competitions communicating with student leadership, and distributing official announcements. In his free time, Josh competes on the Cal Climbing Team, blogs on Medium, and produces music.

Director of External Relations || he/him/his
Kenneth is a student who has always been interested in improving education accessibility for all. As the Director of External Relations, Kenneth is in charge of setting-up partnerships with businesses and organizations to expand the quality of resources that IDOT students have access to. In his free time, Kenneth enjoys playing Teamfight Tactics, reading Wikipedia plot summaries, and scrolling through Tik Tok.

Director of Philanthropy || she/her/hers
Andrea is a student interested in using HCD to help evolve educational technology. As the Director of Philanthropy, Andrea is in charge of ensuring that all students have the ability to participate in IDOT regardless of their financial background. She also oversees legal and financial operations. In her free time, she likes to relearn her old instruments, make random spreadsheets, and bother her cat.

Phi is a landscape architecture student and designer who is passionate about design for sustainability and social good. Director of Education, HCD || she/her/hers, they/them/theirs
Katrina is a designer and cognitive science student who, in retrospect, probably should've just gone for a psychology degree. As Director of Education, she oversees the curriculum development and designathons for IDOT with an emphasis on human-centered design (HCD) and design theory. When she's not designing, you can catch her giving in-depth psychoanalyses of CBS's Survivor that absolutely no one asked for, working on student films, or hunched over a laser cutter.

Erin is a biology student who dreams in brushstrokes and CMYK. As Director of Education, she seeks to develop interactive curriculum that reflects students’ needs and desires. When she doesn’t have a pen in hand, she loves cooking plant-based meals, watching psychological thrillers, and pspspsing the squirrels outside.

Ace is a student, designer, and artist, striving to make people happier through the work he does. As the Director of Marketing, he's in charge of creating visual assets, managing social media, and developing IDOT's brand. In his free time, Ace makes too many and too specific playlists, rates local ice cream shops, and makes a lot (a lot) of fried rice.

Belinda studied political economy and psychology and is interested in technology’s capacity for social good. As Director of Programs, she develops and implements IDOT’s events and programs to connect IDOT’s students and the larger design community. In her free time, she likes to make puns, try new restaurants, and throw up gratuitous peace signs.

Amy is an architecture and urban studies student who loves placemaking and uplifting communities. As a Director of Programs, she works to develop and implement IDOT’s events and programs to connect the larger IDOT and design community. She loves to grocery shop, ride public transport, and entertain (and do!) any impulsive ideas.
